callisto's Issues

TypeError

Colin, enjoyed your youtube presentation on isolated environments workflow. I'm trying to setup your collisto library. It installs fine, however when I attempt to run it get the following error:

Traceback (most recent call last): File "/Users/skmcneill/anaconda3/bin/callisto", line 11, in <module> sys.exit(cli()) File "/Users/skmcneill/anaconda3/lib/python3.6/site-packages/click/core.py", line 722, in __call__ return self.main(*args, **kwargs) File "/Users/skmcneill/anaconda3/lib/python3.6/site-packages/click/core.py", line 697, in main rv = self.invoke(ctx) File "/Users/skmcneill/anaconda3/lib/python3.6/site-packages/click/core.py", line 895, in invoke return ctx.invoke(self.callback, **ctx.params) File "/Users/skmcneill/anaconda3/lib/python3.6/site-packages/click/core.py", line 535, in invoke return callback(*args, **kwargs) File "/Users/skmcneill/anaconda3/lib/python3.6/site-packages/callisto/callisto.py", line 47, in cli success, kernel, kernel_path = install_kernel(name, click.format_filename(path)) File "/Users/skmcneill/anaconda3/lib/python3.6/site-packages/callisto/callisto.py", line 91, in install_kernel executable = get_executable() File "/Users/skmcneill/anaconda3/lib/python3.6/site-packages/callisto/callisto.py", line 130, in get_executable return os.path.join(base_path, 'bin', 'python') File "/Users/skmcneill/anaconda3/lib/python3.6/posixpath.py", line 80, in join a = os.fspath(a) TypeError: expected str, bytes or os.PathLike object, not NoneType
I'm running:
$ callisto -n pete
I'm running Python 3.6.5

Thanks again,
Kevin

string `PYTHONPATH` gets added to $PYTHONPATH

The function get_env is a bit buggy, and ends up with the string PYTHONPATH in sys.path. This doesn't really hurt anything, but it would ignore any other modifications to $PYTHONPATH.

Does not work with `conda`

Right now, looks for $VIRTUAL_ENV to find the executable and display name. Should also check for $CONDA_DEFAULT_ENV and $CONDA_PREFIX.
