When the pip reaches the ends of the pools there is a noticeable stall. There is code that corrects the pacing at the end of each length but the wait seems to be excessive... are we starting on the wrong pixel? or perhaps we needs greater decimal place accuracy

Possible that the introduction of FLOATs has created fractional issues... needs complete review

There's a clock dift of around 1/10th a second per iteration. This drift is likely related to the buzz-sounding.
Either better refine the timing of the buzzer or auto-correct the drift each iteration

Faster 1st or last hundred... start a 50, IM percentages etc

The turn at the far end of the pool appears to have a stall.

add pips at each end of the pool to mark the 15 meter mark for underwater travel.
location should be calculated based on the LED settings

in progress count perhaps?

need to stop resetting the direction flag between reps

bottom mapping needs to be calculated relative to the last LED on the stand
