django-test's Issues

BUG: overwrite a old version archive does not work

Current 2.0 web interface for developers: https://coderus.openrepos.net/pm2

BUG DESCRIPTION

Trying to overwrite a past version archive file does not work. Everything seems fine but PM2 keeps the old version of the archive. IMHO, it is a feature not a bug - possibly a constrain set pourposely by a specific configuration - in this case, it is a bug because the UI part related to that feature should not even displayed.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

Try to overwrite the archive of a published version.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Chrome browser for Ubuntu.

I did a second try, changing the file soon after I have uploaded the first time and it worked. Possibly there is a timeout, 1h to change the file. In that case the bug should be refered about after the timeout expires.

Does not run under Django 4.0.x

  File "/home/www/test/htdocs/pm2/example/demo/apps.py", line 2, in <module>
    from django.utils.translation import ugettext_lazy as _
ImportError: cannot import name 'ugettext_lazy' from 'django.utils.translation' (/usr/lib/python3.9/site-packages/django/utils/translation/__init__.py)

Reason: ugettext_lazy is deprecated in newer django versions.
Apparently can be fixed by using gettext_lazy but haven't tried.

`https://coderus.openrepos.net/` is down

https://coderus.openrepos.net/ results in a blank page (which is "normal"), and all its sub-pages in an error message:
502 Bad Gateway
nginx/1.14.0 (Ubuntu)

E.g. https://coderus.openrepos.net/pm2/ or https://coderus.openrepos.net/whitesoft/sailversion

In contrast to that https://openrepos.net/ and all its sub-pages are working well.

@CODeRUS, can you please contact Basil to resolve this issue. If there is anything I can do to support you in this regard, please let me know.

https://coderus.openrepos.net/ โ‡’ 502 Bad Gateway

Trying to access https://coderus.openrepos.net/pm2/projects/ results in:

502 Bad Gateway
nginx/1.4.6 (Ubuntu)

Originally reported by Objectifnul and adekker at FSO nine days ago. I noticed this today and confirmed that it is still the case: All https accesses at coderus.openrepos.net fail with a 502 Bad Gateway error and http is redirected to https (which is absolutely O.K.). DNS, routing and ping do work fine, with coderus.openrepos.net being resolved to static.10.21.201.138.clients.your-server.de (138.201.21.10).

@CODeRUS, can you please take a look at this infrastructure issue. As long this persists, Patchmanager is mostly useless.

P.S.: Just to notify @nephros and @b100dian that I filed this issue here.

P.P.S.: And finally I read @nephros' message at FSO that a solution is "in the works". Sorry for documenting this issue again, but that piece of information was not easy to find.
