I'm on Debian Jessie with Python 3.4.2 and when I try to run the kops script, I get the following error:

                     ^
SyntaxError: invalid syntax

I did run the pip3 command beforehand.

Any help will be appreciated

Use kops validate cluster instead of kubectl get cluster-info for getting cluster readiness.

I bumped into this article - https://blog.codersociety.com/setting-up-logging-within-kubernetes-on-aws-9840c72208c7. Applied the corresponding manifests into our cluster (v1.7.4 via Kops) but had issues with volume mount and pvc on elastic-logging and es-curator. I noticed that the file es-statefulset.yaml references AWS credentials but it was not described in the article where to store the credentials. Also the storage class in platinum with a size of 1Ti in which the article used 20Gi gp2 class. Am I missing something?
