bundesedit's Issues

Mastodon account

landesedit: SID sachsen

The range 31.12.56.0/21 (= 31.12.56.0 - 31.12.63.255) seems to be maintained by "Staatsbetrieb Saechsische Informatik Dienste" (it is part of the BMI 31.12.32.0/19 range)

@landesedit config file missing

The configuration file for @landesedit (land-networks.json?) seem to be missing. @kringkaste: Did you forget to git add it in 2e8a010?

(The other possibility would be that there is no configuration file yet, and that could also be why @landesedit hasn’t yet tweeted anything.)

Help me prioritize for history pages

Hello!

I did a query against 10 years of German Wikipedia revision history using the the bundesedit ranges. The result is 38 025 revisions, which is a bit too much to present on a single page as I've done so far.

Do you happen to include non-government edits, perhaps edits made from public libraries or universities? If so, could you help me prioritize the ranges, so that I can get the result set down to a more manageable size? It would help me a lot if you could give me maybe separate files of ranges, plus a title for them, e.g.

bundesedit-pri-1.json: Parliament and ministries
bundesedit-pri-2.json: Regional / city councils
bundesedit-pri-3.json: Government offices

or something similar. Here are the top 10 IPs in the revision data, ordered by number of edits:

contributor_ip cnt
141.17.83.200 3903
77.87.228.68 3898
80.245.147.81 3260

194.95.119.139 104

PS. The euroedits history is now up for English (2002-2010), German (2007-2014) and French (2007-2014) wikipedias.

glossary on website

It would be nice to have a glossary on the website explaining what the various abbreviations such as BfN, BSI etc. stand for.

Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt

This tweet is grammatically incorrect:

Artikel "Diemarden" wurde anonym aus dem Netz des Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt bearbeitet

should be “…der Physikalisch-Technischen Bundesanstalt”.

I was about to submit a PR to fix this when I noticed that we can’t fix this in bund-networks.json because the “des” (male genitive definite article) isn’t part of the names in there – it seems to be hard-coded into a part of the bot’s configuration that’s not part of this repository.

I’m not sure how this should be solved. We could move the “des” into the bund-networks.json names – the template would then be Artikel ${title} wurde anonym aus dem Netz ${network} bearbeitet\n${link} (pseudosyntax). We could also somehow add the gender to the JSON, and default it to “male” – advantage: Existing entries mostly don’t need to be changed.
