Merge/Clean CDC Prescription and Mortality by County Data 2006 - 2016

When doing this, include calculations for total change (eg, 2016 Prescription - 2006 Prescription). Also working to include the annual change for both mortality and prescription. We only have enough data to calculate for 2007 to 2016 (eg, I'm defining change for 2016 to be the increase from 2015).

Color Palette

Work with Leonard to create cohesive color palette across the project.

  • Prescription rates - Diverging Colors
  • Death rates - Quantitative, non-diverging
  • Jobs all versus Jobs in healthcare - We have ~21 job categories that we need a color palette for. This is going to be very hard to differentiate between the different job categories no matter what, I'm not sure what the best approach here would be.
  • Training all versus Healthcare training; At least two to differentiate between healthcare and non-healthcare. If we also want to differentiate within healthcare training opportunities we may need more -- Olga?
  • Addiction treatment centers; Not sure on this one -- Olga?
