When loading the website on my mobile, initial size is not a 1:1 with device screen width.
Need to fix this (maybe caused by images not responsive yet?)
Ideally website would not have horizontal scroll when loaded on a mobile device

Story

In order to build a strong personal brand identity, I want to design and display a personalized logo.

Acceptance Criteria

To design a logo that is:

• svg
• not an image protected by existing copyright

This logo will be displayed:

• As a favicon
• On the header of the site
  ** That on click, will return a visitor to the home page

When using a 1 column width format (on mobile)
The footer section loads somewhere in the middle rather than the bottom of the website

Story

The website should have an easy to find RSS/Atom link so that visitors can subscribe for new posts

Background

RSS is the easiest and most common for users to subscribe for new content. However, there are two competing standards: Atom and RSS 2.0

Acceptance Criteria

• To have an RSS feed setup for posts
• That when a new post is added to production, the RSS feed is updated

I want to find out what options there are for SEO that can be applied to user github pages and Jekyll blog posts

As a website owner, I want to ensure that my analytics are accurate and not skewed by non-human visitors

Background

Typically, without any filters, Google Analytics will include several types of 'spam'. This can be ghost referrals, personal visits, and other sources of non-human traffic

Acceptance Criteria

That the following items are filtered out in a new view (keeping a completely unfiltered view in accordance with GA best practices)

• Visits from a personal device/ip (i.e. filtering out internal traffic(
• Filtering out ghost referrals (bots that use an invalid hostname)

When header options are clicked on from the primary NAV, scroll jumps to slightly after target area (header is partially cut off).

Need to add offset so when user clicks on 'resume', the section header is clearly visible

I want to have Google Analytics setup for my site so I can evaluate various metrics.

Background

With Google Analytics I should be easily able to see referrers to my site, which posts where more popular, and various other metrics.

I would also like to experiment with some custom'engagement' micro transactions as well
