Hi Clayton,

I compiled current Fiddler (rev 420) for my old Win7 quadcore w/o problems and only changed
the default uci option for Thread Count to 1 instead of 16.

But it seems this does not work as Fiddler still uses all available four cores.
Interestingly though with explicitely setting it via uci option to 1 from cmd
with 'setoption name Thread Count value 1' it then uses three cores?

All of this just tested in cmd so far with 'go infinite' and not yet in a GUI
like CuteChess.

Fiddler seems to crash roughly once in every hundred games for reasons I don't know.

WHY?

Sometimes I can get the engine to report extra information on a PV after a mating line.
As for why? I don't know. Will investigate further.
