jitsi-hacks's Issues

reorder.js doesn't work with 8x8 video conference site.

8x8 is the paid version of Jitsi. Meetings are hosted from https://app.8x8.vc

When using the reorder.js shortcut, the following error appears in the console:

reorder.js:10 Uncaught ReferenceError: $ is not defined
    at addDragulaStyles (reorder.js:10)
    at reorder.js:108
    at reorder.js:114
addDragulaStyles @ reorder.js:10

Reording video doesn't appear to modify the DOM?

I was curious about implementing this script within a custom Meet instance. However, it seems that the script doesn't modify the order of the video objects. Is this the intended effect? I saw on the dragula site that it actually does seem to rearrange the DOM.

How to add it to a server?

Hey!

First thank you for those amazing hacks. I especially love the emoji one and wondered how to add it to an existing jitsi server so everyone can use them. Can you help me there?

Thanks!

Some idas [request]

Something that would be great to add:

-rainbow avatar (A very slow one, so it isnt LSD like fade)

  • Mod perm
  • kick others without perm
  • change others name
  • activate others cameras or mics

idk if all of the above are possible but would be cool

Feature request: Hide local video tile

I'd like to have/develop a hack that hides the local video tab and frees the space.
This is especially useful if hiding yourself results in not having an additional row for video tiles so all other participants can be displayed bigger.

Contribute upstream?

Why not contribute this change upstream?
These are missed opportunities for improving the software for everyone when it is not at least tried to upstream these – very good and useful – "hacks".

Lower third

Can your lower third add-on be set to show the text from the chat window?

Thank you
