The code for this in in there, but it does not seem to work - maybe its a timing thing about when it's applied. There is a work-around but it would be nice to just make it do this by default.

This plugin doesn't work with Gradle 4.10

Add task to resolve transitive dependencies required by a specified dependency coordinate:

./gradlew resolveDependencies -PrepoUrls=<repos> -Pdependency=group:module:version

which will return a list for that that dependency.
