A circle canvas might allow to get some nicer "power" display, like we can see in grafana for instance.
Using 2 canvas with same center, and some rectangles in order to "mask" might do the trick.

It would then replace the current bars for the power graph.

Preparation:

• Find a REST/JSON API client lib
• Find an OAuth client lib
• Get a log.c2 dev account and related keys
• Implement proper OAuth request for authentication

Decision:
Must decide if the app will push the strokes as Full Result or simple Bulk

• Add tabs in the UI
• List older sessions with pagination
• Load a session, and plot TimeSerie graphs using go-graph
• Add comments to a session ?

MBP fan kicked on high. System became sluggish. Activity monitor showed gopolloplus using high % of CPU:

All I did was launch the app. Did not collect any data. Got busy with other things. May have been 30+ minutes before this started happening.

Using alert dialog would provide a better UX, especially when it comes to missing serial port or the like.

It's not possible to build due to containers/podman#9476

The current code is targeting podman v3 bindings, but they aren't properly published yet.

It might be interesting to mimic the PM5 display as shown in the quickstart doc here:

• Understand the available options
• Create "startup menu"
  • Chose default display (graphs vs PM5)
  • Allow to set time or distance goal
  • "Just row" - must be selected by default, and active once we start rowing
  • History (show file list, and plot graphs)
• PM5: grid layout (no graphs afaik, only sad numbers)

In #7 we express the need of proper alert dialogs in order to improve the overall User Experience.

Here, we might be able to show a dialog allowing to select the serial port from detected ones. This might be especially interesting for MacOSX, since the serial seems to be random.

This should happen in case the configured (or default) serial port is not available:

• list existing serial ports (the lib supports it)
• make a dialog showing the list
• allow to select the one we want to use
• save this setting in the configuration file
• run the app as usual

• Add an toggle switch on the button list
• Switch theme on the fly
• Save selected theme in the default configuration
