However, I'd like the bar-of-expectations a bit higher on this one.

Make sure to have the following at minimum ya slacker:

• Good test coverage, even try to intentionally TDD+incremental-commit part of it for teachable moments
• Readme with an intro and what they're looking at
• Send it to the in-house crew once the above conditions of satisfaction are met

Oh, and make it funny. Funny things are good.

Shamefully I did a bad thing; wrote code without tests. So much for breeding good habits. 👊

Self-shaming humor aside, I need to

• Add good unit tests around all of the observer pattern demo
• Remove half-thought-through bits of code that aren't used (off-the-cuff code is rough)
• Send the updated example to the group in-house after it's all good
