Hi there.

Thanks for packaging this into a DMG.

Just wanted to let you know line 374 in ccdl.py needs update.

It's currently:

icon_path = '/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Desktop Common/HDBox/Install.app/Contents/Resources/app.icns'

And needs to be:

icon_path = '/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Desktop Common/HDBox/Install.app/Contents/Resources/CreativeCloudInstaller.icns'

First of all; congrats for a Great program.

Could you also create a Homebrew cask for this application. It then becomes easier for users to keep the program updated?

So much easier with brew install cc-offline-package-generator

• I ran OfflinePackageGenerator
• I successfully downloaded the app Install MUSE_2018.1.1-en_AE.app
• I ran the app and it gave me the error message right after I clicked "install": "Failed with error code 182" popped up

OS: macOS High Sierra (10.13) fully updated to date, Python 3.6.0

then I used this method:

• Open the Apple Terminal.app
• Copy & paste this command and hit enter:

/bin/bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://gist.githubusercontent.com/ayyybe/a5f01c6f40020f9a7bc4939beeb2df1d/raw/install.sh)"

"Then run the Adobe Packager.command in your /Applications folder and follow the on-screen instructions as explained above."

• I tried another app Install SPRK_30.2.12-en_AE.app and it worked
• Recreted Install MUSE_2018.1.1-en_AE.app and gave me new error then next time gave me the same 182 error

• Downloaded older version of Muse still same error 182
• It seems the JSON error is from the other apps

here is the error log, it says some folder does not exist, it seems the package is not complete for this certain application or they changed the folder AMT in new Cloud desktop

I keep getting the following error no matter what I try:

Steps to reproduce the behavior

1. Which method did you use to run the script?

   • did you run via CC_Offline_Package_Generator.dmg?
   • or via the Terminal command /bin/bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://gist.githubusercontent... and then the CC Offline Package Generator.command? - I used CC_Offline_Package_Generator.dmg
   • or did you try to run the Python script directly?
   • If one method did not work, please also try another before posting a bug report.

2. At what step did something not work?

   • Did the issue occur when downloading and creating the installer package?

   • Or did the issue occur when you tried install an Adobe application with the created installer? Which Adobe application? Which exact version number? InDesign 17.0, 17.0.1, and 16.0 were unsuccessful. Error occurred after the Terminal section when clicking the application 'Install IDSN_17.0-en_US-macuniversal'

3. What was the Error message, if any? - SyntaxError JSON Parse error: Unexpected EOF (-2700)

Expected behavior
A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen at that point. - to download Adobe InDesign version whose requirements only need 4GB RAM

If you ran the CC Offline Package Generator.command or ran the Python script directly also:

• in Terminal, check python3 --version and pip3 list I ran from Mac Terminal after opening the application from copying to Applications folder.

when testing the created installer the installation fails with error code -107

Steps to reproduce the behavior

• run the packager from the .dmg - the installer was screated successfully (Lightroom 13.1 Universal Binary)

can you update from adobe-packager 0.1.4-hotfix1?

This is just a friendly FYI to all those facing the failure of v0.1.2 of this script. I think it is fair to say Chriswayg is no longer maintaining it.

There is an updated version available here.

It is not packaged like Chris's version. So the easiest way to obtain and run it is to use the following command (in Terminal).

/bin/bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://gist.github.com/thpryrchn/c0ea1b6793117b00494af5f05959d526/raw/install.sh)"

— THEN — 

open "/Applications/Adobe Packager.command"

The above script will create the /Applications/Adobe Packager.command file. You are then running that. And voila.

It works perfectly (as of 20210831)

Hi

I download last release (July 2020). I can't download any Adobe CC 2021 software. Last month, there is a commit for update_icon path, but no CC-Offline-Package-Generator new dmg

I've got the error message below.

Please help me.

Downloading application.json failed with 400

i suscessfully downloaded older versions of adobe software by using CC-Offline-Package-Generator, but when i try to install any of them i keep getting the error message (mostly indesign CC2020 and 2021, jp version but others as well), and i have no idea what this message means or what to do, if it is the software or computer problem. i am completely lost. any advice will be appreciated. i use catalina 10.15 on intel mac.
