I run the following code in my terminal (MacOS), but it does not update eelbrain to 0.39.
503 conda create -n eelbrain_test -c conda-forge eelbrain
504 conda activate eelbrain_test

Can you try conda create -n eelbrain_test -c conda-forge "eelbrain=0.39"?

That's what I get

That is strange, is it possible you are accessing an incomplete mirror? What happens when you do conda search -c conda-forge "eelbrain=0.39"?

That is what i got.
I also searched *eelbrain*=0.39; it shows similar response

You seem to have an issue with conda. Below is what you should get and what I get on macOS intel and ARM. Are you on a network where you might be accessing a mirror instead of the actual conda-forge? Some admins do that for security reasons.

I decided to switch to another laptop, and now I use the last version (0.39) on my WIndows laptop and Linux server.
