An ansible specific private key is used in these playbooks.

This key can be generated by running

Generate the keyfile

ssh-keygen -t ed25519 -C "ansible"

Add to authorized host

# replace the user/hostname with whatever you need to connect to.
ssh-copy-id -i ~/.ssh/ansible.pub cianhatton@qnap

Create ext4 filesystem on drive without relying on name

-  name: Create a ext4 filesystem on /dev/sdb1
   filesystem:
     fstype: ext4
    dev: /dev/sdb1
    state: present

We should be able to use this module to create a filesystem. However this depends on device name which can change as drives are added. Can we do this without needing to rely on name?

Support specifying hosted services on different hosts

Currently all the hosts just go on one machine. It should be possible to easily configure which hosts end up running which services.

Support labeling of drives to build mergerfs pool

We can use e2label to label drives manually, and then specify labels such as mergerfs / downloads etc. and write a script which fetches the UUID based on that rather than manually maintaining UUID list.
