CubicoOpenData

Making use of Cubico's open data from Kelmarsh and Penmanshiel wind farms.

Installation

I recommend using Anaconda.

  1. Install Anaconda
  2. Load Anaconda Prompt
  3. Navigate to the directory (e.g. cd %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Github\CubicoOpenData)
  4. Create a new environment (conda create --name cubico-data-env310 python=3.10)
  5. Open the environment (conda activate cubico-data-env310)
  6. Install the requirements (conda install --file requirements.txt)
  7. Clone the repository from Github
  8. Load Jupyter Lab and open the relevant files (jupyter notebook)
  9. Download the data from Kelmarsh
  10. Place the data in a folder data/Kelmarsh/Zenodo relative to the Jupyter Lab notebook

Running

  1. Open the environment (conda activate cubico-data-env310)
  2. Navigate to the directory (e.g. cd %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Github\CubicoOpenData)
  3. Load Jupyter Lab and open the relevant files (jupyter notebook)
