It would be nice if Dictionaries and similar unstructured data would show as tables rather than in console view

Qpad does a similar thing:

Im using a german keyboard layout with KDB Studio and I am not able to enter any of the following special chars into the text editor component: [ ] \ { }
They all require the "Option" key to be pressed, together with a number (5 6 7 8 9).

Right now Im resorting to copy pasting those from another IDE or other code pieces but its not a very elegant solution.

I have this error when I try to open studio in mac. It seems to work despite the warnings.
Still, any way these issues can be fixed?

Sorry, am not a java person. How do you make/compile the project. Suppose, I wish to make small change to source code, and compile in command line linux/unix- What compile tools do you need, and what is the full command that will produce studio.jar.

Does this work on non-windows OS? e.g ubuntu?
I tied on ubuntu- the program aborted with core dump error.
