charlespockert / aurelia-debugger Goto Github PK

i just make a normal setup and i get:
_aureliaPal.DOM.createComment is not a function
error its becuase _aureliaPal.DOM is empty

Happens in main.ts/configure function, Aurelia debugger indicates 'DEBUG [aurelia] Loading plugin charlespockert/aurelia-debugger' then 3 of these happen in a row. I'm sure it's just a compatibility fluke with the new release of Aurelia.

I just installed via jspm.

It entered this in config.js:

"charlespockert/aurelia-debugger": "github:charlespockert/aurelia-debugger@master",

It should be this:

"aurelia-debugger": "github:charlespockert/aurelia-debugger@master",

On page load I'm getting an error in the function elementHasNamedParent in the dom-tracker.js file. Element is not defined, and walking up the tree it looks like the _createClass getter is setting the element variable being passed down to be null (due the the property view.firstchild.parentElement being null. It appears that it's looping through DOM elements, and it's hit a comment element <!--view--> that aurelia automatically generates. Not sure if that is the actual problem, but that's what I think I'm seeing going on here.
