Only a few files in gimp-git interfere with extra/gimp. Should be able to remove the conflict with interfere.
@guiodic Would that be sufficient?

@dr460nf1r3 Sorry, missed your earlier question. Conflicting files are... desktop file, icons, appdata.xml, man pages, symlinks/duplicates.
