Find an API that we can register for and use for free.

What information do we get from them? Call limit? How do we get a key?

Currently have the variable names as labels. They are also sometimes cutoff. Need to update the labels

Don't know of a way to do this with yahoo-finance, so we need another way to be able to either enter part of a stock symbol or download a database of stock symbols

Check implementation of settings from sidebar and show/hide stock details and portfolio view based on this

Same as we have it for the portfolio view, but allow all values that we have data for.

Currently has many options, narrow it down to the ones we want

Allow users to view currencies and quick tool to convert from one to the other.

Decide how we're going to store the user's portfolio information in the local DB

So far I'm thinking of a business person who wants to know everything about the stocks and is bothered when it's not easy to get to. And an average Joe who wants to keep track of the overall performance of the few stocks he is interested in and is bothered when he's presented with a whole bunch of information that he doesn't understand

Hard-load some symbols into portfolio for now (ie: GOOG) and show prices and change for them on the home screen

Currently the stock price is sometimes cut off by the % change. Need to decide on layout for each stock.

Add typeahead searchbar above home list. Allow users to search for stocks by their symbol

Personally the design I have in mind for this project would be suited for ionic. But I am open to suggestions. Toast is out of the question, we should use something more involved for this one to avoid excess work. Other options include the obvious ones, bootstrap and materialize (Nick hates these ones)
