channel-two's Issues

Support for programming blocks driven by livestreams

A question / possibly a feature request:

Let's say that I have a channel programmed by VOD content off of my local NAS, but I want it to play NHK World from this network stream for an hour at a specific timeslot before exiting and returning to VOD content.

Does Channel Two work with m3u8 network playlists (i.e. internet video / livestreams)? Would higher priority entries correctly prompt Channel Two to abort the network stream after an hour if it hasn't itself ended? If not, could this functionality be added?

plays any file

I'm noticing that it loads any file in the directories. This includes srt subtitles or even the thumbs.db files. the screen is just black with the notification of 'you're watching...'
image

Is there an option to include or exclude certain filetypes in the scan?

thanks!

Docker image support

Hello. I saw this project on Hacker News and wanted to try it out. I was wondering if there was a docker image available for this anywhere or if a docker image was planned?

Shuffle=false new episode behavior

I'd like to be able to run a show multiple times a week, but for it to only switch to a new episode after the full week has passed (e.g. play the same episode Monday-Friday, but then advance to the next episode the following Monday).

I'm guessing (haven't tried yet) that I can approximate this by having lines of the format

0 8 * * 1 /path/to/show
0 8 * * 2 /path/to/show
0 8 * * 3 /path/to/show
0 8 * * 4 /path/to/show
0 8 * * 5 /path/to/show

but it'd be nice to be able to consolidate it into a single line
