When I run make command to build kernel modules , I get a following error-
make[1]: *** No rule to make target `modules'. Stop.
make: *** [all] Error 2

Function hlist_add_after() was obsoleted. See, e.g. http://lkml.iu.edu/hypermail/linux/kernel/1406.0/05003.html

The function is used only once here: https://github.com/cernet/MAP/blob/master/modules/ivi_rule.c#L629

We can exchange it with hlist_add_behind() and must not forget to also swap its parameters.

This won't build with recent kernels because of kernel commit b67bfe0d42cac56c512dd5da4b1b347a23f4b70a "hlist: drop the node parameter from iterators"

In most cases it appears you can just drop the extra parameter, but only if you're not using it inside of any of the loops. This is the approach a number of other projects have taken.

What is the general advice here? Should I go ahead with a patch? I'm concerned that this patch was made in 2014 and nobody has complained about this. Is this project still alive?
