Getting "executing external native build for ndkBuild D:\repos\android_rtsp_example\app\jni\Android.mk" under Android Studio, Windows

I'm on Windows 10.

I've downloaded the latest Android Studio from here: https://developer.android.com/studio.

I then went to the SDK manager and installed CMAKE and the NDK.

I've also obviously downloaded Gstreamer, as well as downloaded the Android packages from here: https://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/data/pkg/android/. I've set the GSTREAMER_ROOT_ANDROID environment variable to this folder.

I then open up this project, go to Build > Make Project, and get the following error:

how to optimize latency

How to optimize latency for the RTSP stream? I get around of 3 seconds of latency when using the camera:

playbin uri=rtsp://ipaddress

If I use gst-launch-1.0 rtspsrc location=, I get an error

I have seen at docs https://developer.android.com/ndk/guides/cpp-support to provide libstdc++_shared.so to be provided explicitly,
but I could not find any simple example of doing it

I tried adding in Application.mk as below to try,
APP_STL := c++_shared

and

APP_STL := c++_static

But issue still happens.

I could see there is no libstdc++_shared.so added to generated apk at path
..android_rtsp_example\app\build\outputs\apk\debug\app-debug.apk\lib\arm64-v8a\

Is this due to same reason that libstd+++shared.so is missing in apk if so how to enable Application.mk/Andoid.mk to have it added to apk?

Or Please let know if there is a different approach to address this issue?

Delay after activity is in onPause

After turn off/ on screen or come back from another application (onPause())
Delay happens about 2s, it seems pipeline not include latency=0
Do you have any solutions for it?

package name same as generated classes, deprecation when using latest android sdk

Hello,
I have two questions here:

  1. why the package of this project is org.freedesktop.gstreamer (same as the generated GStreamer)? Is there a way to modify the package in which the files get generated?
  2. I saw that the generated classes contain deprecated code when using latest android sdk.
    I am using "androidx.appcompat:appcompat:1.5.1", compileSdkVersion 33
    and for the gstreamer, I have:
    I am using gstreamer-1.0-android-universal-1.21.2
    ). I saw in your code that you are using sdk version 23, so in your case should be ok (no deprecation).
    Any help can be appreciated, hope not to bother too much. Or is there any forum where I can post these questions?
