King James Textus Receptus Greek New Testament

Description

The 2014 King James Textus Receptus (KJTR) text was created by Alan Bunning for the Center for New Testament Restoration to reconstruct the Greek text matching the English of the various so-called “1769 editions” of the King James Bible commonly used today. Most King James Bibles today do not follow either of the 1611 editions, nor do they follow the 1769 Cambridge or 1769 Oxford editions as they have undergone further editing. The KJTR text is more accurate than the 1884 Scrivener text (which also sought to reconstruct the Greek text underlying the King James Bible but deviated from it in a number of places). By happenstance, the KJTR text also matches the text of the 2006 Pure Cambridge Edition, which merely borrowed readings from these various “1769 editions”.

kjtr's Issues

τῆν

I am not sure if the difference in accent compared to others is intentional or accidental here:

τῆν
Matthew 26:7 11
Revelation 19:20 43

Secondly, I am not sure if τἣν in Col 1:4 is a typo, or deliberate. Im not sure if I should report it as a possible typo, or if it was intentional.

τὴν ἀγάπην τἣν εἰς πάντας

βασιλεῦς in Matthew 27:37

In most of this text we find βασιλεύς, but in Matt 27:37 it say βασιλεῦς. The byzantine and NA28 text also use βασιλεύς. So I guess this is a potential typo.

John 8:6

I wonder if this line from John 8:6 should have the 3?

43008006 τῷ ὁ 35880 E ...3DMS

ἐιμι in Revelation 1:11

I think the breathing may be incorrect on ἐιμι in Revelation 1:11.

(Im not sure if the goals for the texts are generally to be modern, or if sometimes the accents may look odd because they are following a specific manuscript. Is it a general rule that all of the CNTR texts are aiming for modern pronunciation?)
