Build a simple 4-bit CPU with Arty S7-50 FPGA.
The book shown below, a classic in Japan, explains the process of building the simplest CPU, the TD4.
Although this book is built using the 74 series discrete gate ICs, the goal of this project is to build the TD4 using Xilinx's entry-level FPGA,
the Arty S7-50, in consideration of the current trends of the times.

Actual implementation by using logic gate IC well known 74xx series according to the schematic in this book.
The purpose of this repository is to realize the same functionality in FPGA.

日本国内において古典的名著である『CPUの創りかた』では、最もシンプルなCPUであるTD4を構築するまでの過程が解説されている。
本書では74シリーズのディスクリートゲートICを使用して構築しているが、時代の潮流を考慮してXilinxの入門FPGAであるArty S7-50を使用してTD4を構築することがこのプロジェクトの目的です。
