community-ambassador-program's Issues

Documentation for Events & Chapters

  • Guidelines for the contributors
  • Guideline for Chapters
  • Guideline for Chapter creation - key factors to decide if there is a potential for a chapter
  • Measuring the progress

CDF Brasil Chapter

The idea is to create a Portuguese speaker chapter for CD.Foundation in Brazil.

  1. Define a chapter description
  2. Roadmap and goals
  3. Establish good practices as a guide for the chapter.

Enable Github Slack Integration for new issues here to ambassador channel

We can consider setting up an integration for when a new issue is created in this repo to post this to the ambassador channel in slack, this will help with awareness for busy folks as they might not check this board all the time, and it will engage ambassadors more to collaborate on things of interest. I will research what is required and report back here for approval. @bajpaigarima

Ambassador governing Board creation

  1. To ensure that the board reflects “the will of project participants” instead of just being self-appointed.
  2. To ensure that the board reflects the balance of different viewpoints — the needs of users; of ambassadors; of organizations, both large and small;
  3. Maintain stability and avoid sudden direction changes.
To ensure the community is diverse and inclusive.

Governance of issues - Review/ approvers & publishing timelines ( with Outreach & TOC)

The intention of this item is to follow a lightweight governance process for review of the initiatives

  • CDF Events / meetup
  • blogs and surveys
  • Podcast & book review
  • Member projects specific initiatives

We would like to have a monthly handshake on the issues with Outreach & TOC

We also propose that TOC & Outreach to review the initatives, if they feel the need of

Timebox the publishing the items

CDF Webinar on Keptn

Suggested to do a CDF Webinar on the following topic. Currently in refinement with Garima and Tracy. Proposed date would be April 26th

Keptn: Putting Observability into the driving seat of Continuous Delivery
Its simple: You define your SLOs (Service Level Objectives)! Keptn takes care of orchestrating your favorite delivery tools (Jenkins, Argo, GitLab, ...) based on the data from your observability platform (Prometheus, Dynatrace, DataDog ...)
Join this webinar and learn the latest from the Keptn team. We answer common questions such as: how does Keptn fit into Argo, Flux or Jenkins? How do I let Keptn integrate other testing and notification tools not supported out-of-the-box? How can I get started? How can I contribute?

  • An CI/CD BOM is useful both to the builder (manufacturer) and the buyer (customer) of a software product

  • Cyber Supply Chain Management and Transparency Act of 2014[10] was US legislation that proposed to require government agencies to obtain SBOMs for any new products they purchase, so it can help CI/CD consumers and producers
