ui-info-suite's Issues

Hover Tooltip: Bundle name text overhanging

There seems to be an issue where the text for the bundle name doesn't fit the Tooltip window.
I think this might be to the X offset of the text to the window not being taken into account during window with creation.

Is this repository still maintained? Is this mod still open source?

This is one of the few SDV mods that I use, and I was going to work on PRs for 1.3 this weekend. I notice that there is a beta release on Nexus Mods for 1.3, though. I don't see anything in this repository indicating it. It seems like what's on Nexus Mods aren't the same. Is this mod still open source? If so, is Github still where development happens or has it moved somewhere else?

No longer compatible with 1.5

Hi, as the subject title states this mod is no longer compatible with version 1.5 of Stardew Valley. Lots of people are eagerly awaiting an update as this is a pretty big core mod for the game. I understand with it being just days away befoe the Christmas holidays finding time to set aside to work on a project may be difficult, so if you're too busy then perhaps a little post to let the community know if an update will be planned some time soon? ^^

Thank you for your hard work and contribution to the Stardew Valley community. Hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas. <3

Game works and runs but mod doesnt. Using this in 1.5.5

[Suggestion] Persistent configuration

I use both UI Info Suite and NPC Map Locations, and I find the latter's NPC tracking to be better.

However, every time I launch the game, I need to disable UI Info Suite's "show NPCs on map" feature.

Of course, that's not the only mod option that's not saved.

I'd like to suggest the addition of variables in config.json to save the whole mod configuration.

Not working

Tried downloading this mod, but SMAPI says it is no longer compatible and I need to download a newer version, even though I'd only just downloaded it... Was very excited to use this mod but so far just confused

Problem to render elements

After 1.5, the engine probably changed the method for rendering

Sprinklers - image
Scarecrows - image
Pet - image

The rectangles aren't set in the grid, and move pixel by pixel with player's movement.
I trying to find the problem, but i'm not a C# dev, so i cant help.

Toggle crop/barrel tooltip key

I have this implemented, but wanted to get your thoughts before putting it in a pull request. It's the ability to show the crop/barrel tooltip when holding down a key. There is no UI for setting which key(s) do this though since the custom options dialog only handles checkbox options. This means users would have to edit the config XML or legacy JSON in order to change which key(s) enabled this.

Not maintained/Fork?

Is anyone maintaining a fork of this? I see a lot of forks but not sure which to use.

I see there have been code changes after the last release on nexus mods + none of the issues seem to be getting addressed.

Can't click on Ui-info-suite options or icons

When clicking on any option of the ui-info menu it simply doesn't work. I tried disabling every single mod except for smapi and UIif and even so I got no response :(
I can't click on the menu nor on the billboard or calendar, and can't uncheck the "show on map" for NPCs (which was the thing I wanted to do the most so I could use a similar mod).
Smapi and UI are updated.

Mod Error v1.8.3

I am constantly receiving this error in the console while using the latest version of this mod. The repeated readout is as follows:

Let me know if you need any more info. Thanks for keeping this mod up-to-date and so quickly updated after yesterday's version bumps!

1.3.17 Compatibility

Smapi flags this mod as incompatible with the advent of SDV 1.3.17

Specifically from my testing, the problem seems to stem from the reference of Game1.player.toolBeingUpgraded, which has likely been made obsolete from the recent bugfix:

  • Fixed farmhand tools disappearing after logging out while being upgraded

Many problems in Local (split screen) Co-Op

When another farmer joins in local co-op (split screen), the experience tracker will endlessly repeat experience gain notifications as soon as they join, even though no one is gaining experience. Each character after the first introduces more, so with three players each screen will see repeating experience notifications at two different points on screen, that seem to track the movements (but not actual location) of the other farmers. This seems to lag the game, especially as more local players join.

You can't open the mod's config menu in split screen (clicking the icon does nothing). The icon sometimes moves, but I'm not sure under what circumstances.

Icons for luck (and probably others) are displayed for each character for every character. So if there are three local players, three luck icons are displayed on each character's (split) screen.

The experience bar for all characters seems to only show the experience progress level of the last player to join (so all three screens see the experience bar of player three).

(Tested using the UI Info Suite unofficial update on SMAPI 3.8.2 develop, as 3.8.1 has other local co-op bugs)

I'm guessing a lot of this can be fixed by using the new PerScreen<T>.
