gamecast's Issues

Add an event queue similar to AnimatedFrame.

In Bonna Bellum, there is an AnimatedFrame class that handles the animation, fps, and input events. It also has a queue for Events. Certain classes contain an AnimatedFrame, and can add/poll from the queue, adding and handling events.

Implement a similar system in GameCast for events that take place in the game, like shuffling a deck, game piece movement, or using a card.

Add a screen class.

In Bonna Bellum, there is a screen class with one GameScreen child. In GameCast, there should be two children classes: StartScreen and GameScreen.

StartScreen will be where players join, before the game starts. Once everyone is ready, it will switch to GameScreen.

Get GameCast to run the game.

GameCast needs to store all the logic of the game. It's where decisions are made to do what's next, whether it's someones turn, someone won, or a timer ran out.

Should Spot class be nested inside Board class?

What would work better, keeping Spot class nested inside Board class or not?
What would/should use or access Spot class, other than Board?

Could Spot be used without Board?

  • It could be used to position Game Pieces, Decks, Cards, ect.
  • How else can elements be positioned?
