vfbitcoin's Issues

Error: L6218E: Undefined symbol main

Project does not compile. I cleaned up the makefile to try and get it to work with RDVS 4.0, but I think there is a problem with the included files. That or something change and this project is no longer compatible with the latest Verix V SDK.

Common.h and CoErrors.h

The files common.h and CoErrors.h listed in the VerixPlatform.c are missing. I don't have these files in my Verix V SDK.

Resume development, maybe?

Hey! I stumbled upon this code after accidentally getting a Vx510 for free from a friend. I'm interested in using it for bitcoin. I was reading the code, and as it says, it's a stub. It would be awesome to be able to contact whoever was responsible for this code, and be able to resume work.

I'm not sure if the people working on this is interested on following with the project or not, but it would be helpful to have contact with any of em to solve any doubts that may follow.

It would be interesting to keep working on this, since these machines seem not so expensive and part of the code is already open source, people would be able to get one and install the software and start taking or selling bitcoin with a POS.

If anyone wants to help with this, I already have a machine, I'm not sure how to load the code (Has a usb host port and a RS232 port, maybe the latter?) and also I don't have the environment set up for compiling this. I'm gonna try and work on this matter and get more people involved thay may want to have the option of an open source POS running on common Verifone hardware.

Hit me up at pons "at" p0ns "dot" org or via github if you are interested in helping with this.

Felipe.

Still active?

Hey guys,

Love the project, but just wondering what it's state is now. Was thinking about buying a VeriFone terminal and playing around with it, but curious if I'm alone on that now :)

To explain, I work at a web development shop, and we're looking into having a front-facing business on the side when we move into our new office next summer. Whether it's a coffee shop or a bar, I'd really love to accept bitcoins if I can convince the nerds I work with that it's a good idea!
