To run this project on your computer you will need to download and install Node.js and yarn.
You will also need to sign up for a Twilio account if you don't have one already.

First clone this repository and
cd
into it.$ git clone [email protected]:TwilioDevEd/whatsapp-media-tutorial-node.git $ cd whatsapp-media-tutorial-node

Next, open
.env.example
at the root of the project and update it with values from your Twilio account and local configuration. Save the file as.env
. You'll need to setTWILIO_AUTH_TOKEN
,TWILIO_ACCOUNT_SID
, andVERIFICATION_SID
.For the
VERIFICATION_SID
variable you'll need to provision a Verification Service -
Navigate to the project directory in your terminal and run:
$ yarn install
This should install all of our project dependencies from npm into a local
node_modules
folder. -
Run the web app.
$ yarn start
