Package for displaying flash messages to the user
License: MIT License
I would like to use the package in a - lets say - traditional way, where a flash message is displayed on the next route / page. E.g. when an item ist deleted you get back to the list of items and inform the user, that the item has been deleted.
How would I use your package in such a context?
https://atmospherejs.com/mrt/flash-messages (mrt
should be changed to camilosw
by updating package.js and adding a name
: camilosw:flash-messages
field).
Helps people get to Atmosphere from GitHub. For example, for my jQuery-rateit package:
Hi
I'd like to use this package for my app but there's no licence on the repository, which means that I can't use it due to github's policy.
Is it possible to add an open source licence like MIT ?
Underscore is used, for example in https://github.com/camilosw/flash-messages/blob/master/messages.js#L32, but api.use("underscore")
is not present.
It would be awesome to have an option that messages would clear on page refresh / template destroy
Could you make the autohide configurable? Sometimes I'd like to not have an error message disappear after 5 seconds.
Hello,
I just got your package and it is a great package for flash messages. Just what I needed.
I am still running 0.8.3 and plan on upgrading soon to 0.9.0 and I am wondering if you have upgraded this package to work with meteors new package system for 0.9.0?
It would be a nice feature to be able to send a FlashMessages with an id
so that it would be possible to have multiple flash messages on the same page that would act independent of each other.
Group similar messages with ul, li tags
I couldn't find this package on atmosphere. Do I just need to clone this into my package directory to use?

getting Uncaught ReferenceError: FlashMessages is not defined
Formatting and links would be nice (maybe via Markdown?). Something like this maybe?
FlashMessages.sendInfo('**Hello, there!** Go to [Google](http://google.com)');
Any feedback on this idea?
Hi,
I'm trying to add the FlashMessages.sendSuccess("HELLO"); in the template events but I'm getting the error "Uncaught ReferenceError: FlashMessages is not defined". But when I put it in template rendered it's working. Any ideas why? Thank you
