An Android/iOS and web app that compares driving from A to B versus taking the train. Given two postcodes and the fuel efficiency of your car, the app calculates the time/cost to drive/take the train between the postcodes. It uses and two postcodes to find the nearest origin/destination train station and takes into account the time to walk between the postcodes and these stations. It makes use of Google's Distance Matrix API and fetches live train times and fuel prices using a web scraper. The app is currently undergoing testing and is not yet live.
