Sunday is the first day of the week not the seventh day, this is the only calendar I've ever seen that has this error and it is confusing, so confusing in fact it is useless in its present form.
Generally speaking, on non-Elementary operating systems I like to constrain widgets to specific virtual desktops for specific purposes. It's a bit unclear to me if this fits with Elementary design guidelines for widget-type apps, but I would like to be able to use Luna similarly. Right now it displays on all possible virtual desktops. Thank you for your consideration.
Really nice widget!
However sometimes is really hard to see it when I'm using a transparent theme. This happens on really busy backgrounds because the different objects on the background image interfere with the calendar and makes it too difficult to read.
It would be great if Luna allowed the user to change the starting day of the week. I prefer to have Sunday be the first day of the week instead of Monday.
Thanks for a terrific app! I really like the ability to make the background transparent on the desktop.
Hi, I really appreciate your work , is a very good application
but i don't use elementary OS
could you make a flatpak for luna?
in this way, users can install the application in any linux distribution
please.
thank you.
I prefer the look of the calendar more integrated into the desktop wallpaper and would therefore like an option which is basically the opposite of #1, the ability to turn off shadow drawing altogether for any color/transparency option. Thank you very much for your consideration of this feature request.
I do not see a "Quit" option anywhere in the (vertical) ... menu, nor any other way to quit the app. Perhaps a quit option should be included in the (vertical) ... menu.
Spams the message "Time!" every five second to the journal.
journalctrl -f
Hi, I really like your widget so I'm giving you a suggestion.
What if you allowed the user to resize the "LUNA" calendar widget
I see that I really need this option because I would like to make it the size I want on my desktop
Thanks.
I am often accidentally nudging Luna on my desktop, but I would like its position to remain consistent. Is it possible to add a position-locking feature? Thank you very much for your consideration, and thanks for this really great widget!
See: https://appstream.elementary.io/appcenter/html/bionic/main/issues/com.github.calo001.luna.html
These should instead be formatted like:

Right now the applet looks a little bit off without any shadow on the colored themes. It makes sense to remove the shadow when it's transparent, but I think keeping it with the colored themes would look a bit more native to elementary OS.
I've included Luna in Startup, but every time it launches in the middle of the screen.
Can it be made so that it remembers its last known position?
That would be loads better! Thanks!
Very big unaesthetic frame around calendar.
I`m using MATE with picom
As you might have heard, AppCenter is going Flatpak! For elementary OS 6, we will not longer be accepting Debian packaging, so your app will need to be updated.
We have documentation on our developer guide for writing your Flatpak manifest here: https://docs.elementary.io/develop/writing-apps/our-first-app/packaging#flatpak-manifest
Also, in case you missed it, elementary OS 6 beta 2 is now available. This is a great time to get your app packaged up as Flatpak and test that everything is working before the final release. AppCenter submission for OS 6 will be open soon, so don't delay :)
First of all, very cool widget!
As the title says, it would be cool if it can be synced with Maya and color the dates that have an event.
I recently installed Luna Calendar on my Linux-Mint system (Linux-Mint 20.2 Cinnamon). I like the calendar, it is exactly what I was looking for. However I am not able to get the focus on Lunar (it will always open in back of other windows). If I have already open window on my screen when I open Luna, I will not see it, unless to minimize all others windows that is in top of Luna. It is not possible for me to see Luna, unless NO other windows is on the screen there, because Luna will always be in the back all the time.
I did capture video of the screen so you can see.
Is it something I can do? or is this some bug or something?
Thank you
Kjarri
Hey, I was just reviewing your update for Luna and it looks good to go except the screenshot needs to be updated for OS 6 :)
