My understanding of nous

Nous is a tool that can automatically generate code based on developers' configuration. Generated code can include web services, DB connection, Git configuration, testing framework, etc. (whatever developers need). I saw a similar tool that can only generate C++ code of a RPC framework based on predefined protobuf files. I think it's a great idea to support all different apps. We could even support remote compiling/running so that developers don't have to struggle with problems of environment configuration. Very interesting project!
