I am not able to complete setup {app crashing) of Mochi Live TV on my Hisense TV (Google TV - Android TV OS 11). I am able to install Live Channels on Hisense TV with no issues.
For comparison, I was able to install Mochi Live TV on Chromecast with Google TV (Android TV OS 12) without any issues.
The EPG for the tuner channels are always empty until you visit each channel which limits its usability. I was wondering if the following could be possible:
Subscribe to an EPG service and map the EPG channels to the OTA channel.
Thanks for continuing to develop Live Channels, my TV has a very bad application from the company's developers for Live TV, so I replaced it with your application and it works great, but there are suggestions for improvement.
Please make manual sorting of channels. This is very useful when you need to collect your favorite channels in a certain order according to the list, and not as the provider wants.
It is also very useful to add some channels to the blacklist so that they are ignored when switching.
Add a Favorites section and the ability to make it the default for use. This way you can make your own personal selection of channels and switch only between them.
We kindly ask you to expand the display of channel name symbols in the OSD. When the title is long, it is cut off, which spoils the impression. There is a lot of free space, I don’t understand why there is such a short character limit.
I don’t know why, but the TV guide (EPG) from my TV provider does not load or display. I ask you to make a section in the settings where you can specify a link to display the TV program from the cloud, for example "https://site.com/epg/epg.xml.gz"
I really hope for feedback and development of the project.
The info bar on the top, where is info about channel is not disappearing when using arrow keys (up and down). To "remove" the bar I have to press return.
This is a preexisting Live Channels issues with Accessibility.
When Accessibility is enabled for any other app, accessibility "features" get enabled in this app. While the on-screen channel navigation buttons seems unnessasary, the blocking issue is with the EPG. While navigating, the EPG scrolls to the farthest point in the future for channels that contain no EPG data. This issue essentially prevents me from using any app that uses the accessibility settings (for button remapping as an example).
@brunochanrio - Could we possibly have a toggle setting to turn off this accessibility view?
