slime-rancher-2-interactive-map's Issues

Missing parts on Ember Valley map image

The Ember Valley on the map image is missing

  • the large cave added along the northern ocean opening
  • the teleport pad island to the south

Both related to the Powderfall Bluffs teleportation line endpoints, as is self-explanatory in this image:

3/3 Pods on conservatory that are not on the map yet (I've marked them with my own pins)

[Enhancement] Create a contribution.md

CC: @Clearmist @danhannigan

We should create a contribution.md so new people know how to contribute, any important information needed, and maybe code styling?

What things did you guys wish you knew or would've like to know before working on this? Do we have any specific code styles or important things to know? Currently I can only think of the debug .env file.

Missing Nodes (Ember Valley)

There are five missing nodes in Ember Valley. I have not yet located where the missing five are but I will update on this issue when I do find them.

1/5 of the missing nodes found. Found above the Rock Gordo slime behind the rock formation.

[Enhancement] Resource and Slime location re-work

Currently the map looks super cluttered with resource locations and it's only going to get worse as we mark them out. As well as that, the locations are only general and are hard to mark due to the locations being semi-random.

I propose that instead of marking direct locations we have a little table next to each island saying what resources and slimes can be found here. That way we can clean up the map and make it more clear of where to find things. Using this system we could also put island info on the card such as amount of treasure pods, drones, etc. It would also solve the issue of the region text being hard to read as we could just put them there.

As to how we're going to do this I'm not quite sure yet...
Maybe something like this, although it will probably be a bit difficult.

Tag me if someone starts working on it, I might give it a go but not sure if I'll have too much time.
