This Python script allows you to organize files from a source directory into their respective folders based on their file types. It can help you keep your files organized and tidy, making it easier to manage your documents, pictures, music, videos, archives, and more.
-Automatically detects the type of each file and moves it to the appropriate folder. -Supports various file types, including documents, pictures, music, videos, archives, and miscellaneous files. -Creates target folders if they don't exist.
1.Clone or download this repository to your local machine.
2.Modify the source_dir and target_dir variables in the script to specify the source directory containing your files and the target directory where the organized files should be moved.
3.Run the script using Python:
python organize_files.py
The script will organize the files from the source directory into their respective folders within the target directory. ** #File Types Supported**
