An image without an extension can not be viewed. The image can still be valid, but if no extension is provided the image will not display.

Any Exception that is not manually caught is leaked through each request which is an annoyance and possible security vulnerability.

An event handler needs to be written to catch all of these uncaught exceptions and respond appropriately to them.

Currently a query is executed to attempt to retrieve an image from a hash sent in via the request parameters. This is an unnecessary query most of the time and can easily be avoided.

Avoid the query if there is no hash parameter or the hash parameter is empty.

Images that fill the screen look good with the transparent header, but images that don't look bad.

See https://picto.io/i/BOUZ01Yl as an example. If an image fills the full screen, chances are the top 40px are not extremely important. However, images that do not fill the screen might need those pixels.

Thus, on the image display page add some JavaScript to determine if the image fills the screen or not. If it does not, apply some padding/margin to the top of it so it goes below the transparent bar.
