When running out of heap space during a directory move operation, the program may unwind the nested directories for more levels than it actually copied, causing the delete directory operation to start at a nested level higher up then the level that the copy operation started from.
In essence, the process will start deleting directories higher up the folder structure that it started copying from. Depending on the level that the out-of-memory error occurs at, the delete operation could start at the root directory, erasing the entire disk,
