The winner of the Green Track at Corn Hacks 2020. Scrapshot is an Android App built with Kotlin, Tensorflow, and Google APIs. It uses image recognition in order to determine if an item is recyclable and allows you to recycle it for points. It includes a map of the recycling center, point redemption, leader boards, and more!
Look into the Google Navigation API being used by some enterprise companies, however, it is exclusive. Currently, the navigation has overlaps and it is not good at pinpointing your location nor your starting location.
The current application icon on an Andriod device is the default logo. A customized logo has already been created, but it has yet to be set as the icon.
The current pop-up screen for social feed has a very light font color. As a result, it is hard to see the choices. The main button name also has a misleading name.
Using MapBox, implement a feature that allows a user to simply look at the map and locate nearby recycling plants. Ideally, this feature should be able to give directions.
