Hello, Thanks for providing ready-to-use packages for rpm-based distributions.
I recently installed Fedora on a new arm-based MacBook Pro. I would appreciate it if you could also provide packages for the aarch64 architecture. This might be useful for others who use arm-based systems.
Let me know if I can help in any way.

I've used your package on Fedora 36 and it's working now,
but strangely I had to replace ip with /usr/sbin/ip in /opt/awsvpnclient/Service/Resources/openvpn/configure-dns
to get it to work. Before that it was failing to connect and showing this in the log:
2022-11-25 13:06:17.424 -03:00 [DBG] >LOG:1669392377,I,/opt/awsvpnclient/Service/Resources/openvpn/configure-dns tun0 1500 1552 10.3.240.2 255.255.255.224 init
2022-11-25 13:06:17.446 -03:00 [DBG] >LOG:1669392377,F,WARNING: Failed running command (--up/--down): could not execute external program
I get the error below when running the VPN client:
No usable version of libssl was found
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
The expected behavior would be connecting without issues.
This issue also happens when running it in Ubuntu as below:
https://askubuntu.com/questions/1406567/amazon-workspaces-client-not-working-on-22-04
Installing libssl1.1 resolves the issue on Ubuntu, however I cannot find this library on Fedora repos.
Hi,
I have just install awsvpnclient from your repo in Fedora 36, and this is result:
systemctl start awsvpnclient
Failed to start awsvpnclient.service: Sending user's quota exceeded
See system logs and 'systemctl status awsvpnclient.service' for details.
systemctl status awsvpnclient.service
○ awsvpnclient.service
Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/awsvpnclient.service; enabled; vendor preset: enabled)
Active: inactive (dead)
Is there any follow step need in order to configure or finish the set-up?
Thanks in advance
Can we have updated AWS VPN Client to latest version (3.9.0, or at least 3.8.0) because of security updates included?
Hello! When I tried to connect using awsvpnclient I get this error:
'libva error: vaGetDriverNameByIndex() failed with unknown libva error, driver_name = (null)
I don't know if it is relevant, but my GPU is AMD (AMD Radeon™ RX 6600M / AMD RENOIR)
Hi, after using your packages for a while in GNOME, I could lunch the VPN client by searching for it in the gnome app launcher.
Butnow, after switching from gnome to i3, I can't launch the application because I cant find the executable for the client.
How can I find the VPN client executable?
Thank you for your time
