This is a request. I don't know how to contact you guys but I love your widget. 
Use it everyday.  It would be nice to have a 4 X 1 or horizontal contact 
widget, it just looks better in my opinion.

Would be awesome if you could include the option to direclty dial people. Would 
make the widegt a lot faster as well!

[Enhacement]
It would be great if you could choose several groups and see them first in the 
widget, with a generic group icon. Then, when you tap on a group, the group 
icon goes to the top and you see the contacts in the group.

Then you can go back to the group view if you tap on group icon at the top.

See attached image.

Issue: If you click on a contact image the available actions open at the top of 
the screen - overlapped by the notification bar.

Expected: The dialog opens right next to the contact picture itself.

The widget does not refresh if you change something om your contacts.

This is on a G1 running CM-5.0.8-DS with the included ADW.launcher. Srcrollable 
widgets are turned on

Not a problem, just a feature request:
1. I don't know if you are allowed to do this, but can you implement something 
like this http://phandroid.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/launcherpro-plus.png
It doesn't have to be grid, just the layout of the contact picture and a name 
under it with a black semi-transparent background behind the name. So the main 
point is to have contact picture and a name on top of picture(not on right or 
left).

2. An option to have only the first name (or only last name)to be displayed if 
we choose to display names

3. An option to call(or e-mail, or IM etc.) contact directly by pressing on the 
picture

Having a lot of settings is a great feature and gives us (regular users) a lot 
of joy! :)

HTC Magic with CM 5.0.8 and ADW Launcher shipped with it.

I can't sent the logs as attached file.

Text alignment of the contact's name on version 0.1.6 is either center below 
the contact photo (when select single column widget) or on the right side of 
the contact photo (when select more than single column widget). 

But in version 0.2.0 beta, this seems to change to center below the contact 
photo only. However, the text alignment on the right side of the contact photo 
looks much cleaner and allow possibility to add some more info on the second 
line (e.g.phone number, etc.)

Widget works great! Thankyou for the time you've spent working on this.

Could I please request that you provide an option in your Config activity to 
allow you to choose the facebook profile pics as the images represented by your 
widget.

Also after the previous update it looks like the pictures are not scaling 
properly. All the x1 Widgets have small pictures. An option for larger pictures 
on those Widgets would be great!

It would be great if there is an option where I could give the widget a 
individual name.

When I create a widget on my desktop, it has the text in it "Sorry, your 
launcher is to old, please update it!"

I'm using the latest Launder Pro update on android 2.2.  Can't get much more 
updated than that!

Create settings for the QCB size (Large or Medium)

I was looking at your code for a project I am working on and though you might 
wan't this patch which stops you having to split the lookupkey/id in the click 
action.

Its nothing fancy, just thought you might like it :)

I only tested it on Froyo :(

PS this is my first patch *ever* so let me know if I did something wrong ;)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Install widget
2.Place widget on screen, go through all setup options
3.Watch Launcher crash, won't ever load.  had to reload 'sense' as a launcher 
just to uninstall.

Setings used:
1x3 launcher, Medium icon, Group set to a system group (family members), No 
label text.

Tried on both Launcher Pro and ADW which are both updated as of 9/5 and work 
flawlessly on my evo. Also use other scrollable widgets without a problem.

The widget itself isn't closing (or at least Android isn't telling me) but 
rather the error message says the LAUNCHER is closing.

When the widget is 4 columns wide it would be nice to have the option for 2 
columns of pictures with name to the right.

Very nice widget, thanks a lot. The only thing, I miss, is a feature that 
allows me to customize (partial, eg 10%, 20% ... 100%) background transparency 
even for the black and white skin.

Other widget sizes then 4x2...

1. Connect to bluetooth device. (replicated on two devices
2. Disconnect from bluetooth
3. All phone call audio muted, incoming and outgoing, on both sides of call.
4. If I remove widget from home screen, issue disappears.

The only way phone audio comes back is with a re-boot of the phone.

Being deaf (and never making calls) I would love to have the option of Direct 
SMS in addition to Direct call.

A 4 wide widget with the super cool. 

When you add the widget the available groups dropdown is empty. As a result the

This will stop me having to make a new widget every time I want to change 
something!

Will require pending intent with data so the intent is unique (extras are 
unreliable)

"Refresh" (new remoteviews) of layout when preferences are saved in case user 
changes colors etc

Catch extras when starting preference activity and loading specific widget 
prefs if appWidgetId != invalid

It would be nice if Widget could be set to use ACTION_CALL intent rather than 
ACTION_DIAL.

Using ACTION_DIAL of course brings up the dialer, but requires an additional 
screen press.  ACTION_CALL would allow true direct dialing from the widget.

Would be nice to have different color label for each contact group.

Add an option to hide the names of an contact

Could you add a 4x4 view for your widget?

In this size there could be 3 contacts in a row. This would be very nice.

Add a feature to select multible groups at once, and allow to select a "custom 
group" where you can select multiple people without a group

Would it be possible to add a 4x4 widget? Maybe with 3 contacts in a row. like 
in the HTC widget?

They can't setup an alpha value so they should at least be able to use the old 
"transparent theme"...

There is a separator between each contact. I think it would look better if it 
would be removed when using the transparent skin.

Would it be possible to add an option to reconfigure the widget without having 
to remove it and then put it back? I could live with that the option would only 
be available if the widget has a title (so clicking the title would open the 
settings).

Or add a small icon for settings (like for example Pure Calendar widget).
