Mapping in Thailand
Task Description
This task outlines work to improve the map data in Thailand. We plan to focus on improvements to the road network road restrictions and road directions. We'll be reviewing and mapping highway=*, turn restrictions and one-ways.
We will message the local community and get help and suggestions for this project.
The Project will relay on MapRoulette challenges found here:
Improvements that will be addressed include the following:
Correcting road connectivity and alignment issues, oneways and turn restrictions, adding missing roads, oneway's and turn restrictions
This will be done according according to local and OSM guidelines for highway, restrictions and oneway
Area of Focus is: Thailand (Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Phuket)
Mapping Guidelines
The team will follow OSM and local policy, along with any other guidelines as appropriate.
The project will use imagery and data sources below as needed. When in doubt, will use the existing tags and data which are used locally. The history in JOSM (ctrl-H) identifies what previous mappers added and their notes and/or explanations regarding changes made. This history can also show if a previous mapper has visited that area or has expert knowledge or sources.
Tools
The tools used will be ID Editor or JOSM for completing the task. Also take into account validation warnings for restrictions and other possible issues that are important to prevent improper changes.

Mapping missing roads in Ghana
Task Description:
This task outlines work to improve road network in Accra and Kumasi. We plan to add missing roads and road attributes.
Mapping Guidelines:
The team will follow the process described in our wikis: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Organised_Editing/Activites/Bolt and https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Bolt alongside with OSM and local guidelines.
