hashmap's Issues

Store size of key

Store the key size so we can use this to compare the keys in the event that a hash is the same. Currently we are assuming no hash collisions, which is not realistic

Iterator support

add "iterator" like support for iterating over the entire hash map object. ideally you'd be able to call hm_start(), get a pointer to a pair, and then either go forward() or backward() until hitting the end (which would return a pair of NULL, NULL).

revamp test suite

as is, the current "test" code is nothing more than a very very simple demo. need a real test suite to exercise the code and expose bugs
