Currently the plugin requires jQuery to be available on the page.

The JavaScript part of the plugin could be rewritten to work without such a large dependency.

Currently, the plugin also performs GET requests to /update_page_indicator even for not logged-in users.

This should be disabled to avoid unneeded network traffic for regular site visitors.

When the page is blocked it might be useful to have a button/link which allows you to see the published version of the page with one click.

The link could just redirect to /page?edit_off

Maybe an option to take over a page makes sense.
It might be a valid scenario where the user who is blocking the content leaves his computer with the page still open, even after saving. In this case he will continue blocking the page.

WordPress for example supports that:

CONCURRENT_POLLING_INTERVAL = 5
CONCURRENT_BLOCKING_OFFSET = 5

results in the runtime error
django.core.exceptions.ImproperlyConfigured: CONCURRENT_BLOCKING_OFFSET is shorter than CONCURRENT_POLLING_INTERVAL

According to the doc on the Readme this should be possible:

CONCURRENT_POLLING_INTERVAL: Interval for the clients to poll the server; is 20 by default; Must not be greater than CONCURRENT_BLOCKING_OFFSET

When I do pip install djangocms-concurrent-users , it is saying " Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement djangocms-concurrent-users".
