webUI to help smoke test the OpenStack

== Description

A web application UI and REST API to run functional/integration smoke tests on the OpenStack. Uses Chef VPC Toolkit projects like openstack_vpc to spin up groups of servers in the cloud for testing.

== Installation

Requires a Ruby, Rubygems, and Ruby on Rails 3.0+.

	gem install rails -v3.0

The application was developed with MySQL. The following gems are required:

	mysql
	json
	resque

Unpack the rails app and run the following commands to create the database.

	rake db:create
	rake db:migrate

Start some linux workers to configure Linux machines:

	mkdir tmp/pids
	rake resque:workers QUEUE=job COUNT=3

Start the API server:

	./script/rails server

At this point the web application should be running at http://localhost:3000.
