analtester's Issues

Allow user-defined templates

The default test templates may not be what all users want.

Allow them to specify their own template (per framework), either as a string, or as a path to an ERb file.

Allow the severity level to be configured

Some people don't think it's necessary to create a test/spec file for every single source file, and they are right.

It would be nice to be able to control this, by insisting only that certain paths are covered, or that explicit path matches are included or excluded.

Allow configuration via a block

It should be possible to configure an instance of Analtester with a block, such as

Analtester.new do |a|
  a.framework = :rspec
  a.skip_views!
  a.autocorrect = false
  a.level = warn
end

This will ease programmatic integration into other projects. Of course, it might be better to provide a method like Analtester::config, which yields a block and allows setting class-variables which act as defaults for the instances.

Allow integration with Rails projects

It should be possible to programatically incorporate Analtester into the spec/test suite of a Rails app.

  • There should be a Rake task they can use
  • It should be easy to configure behaviour in an initializer
