I've tried getting Yelpdor to run on a couple of Macs now, and it looks like properly installing SDL2 is the bottleneck: even after installing SDL2 as described in its docs, I get file not found errors related to it. Out of the several ways I've attempted, the only route to a playable game I've found is 0) install homebrew if it's not installed yet, 1) brew update && brew upgrade, 2) brew install sdl2, 3) python yelpdor.py.

If we want people to be able to play this game, we should put a little time into making it easier to install, and maybe just shipping everything as a single executable.
