Hi! Cool project, I'd really like to be able to run this to have a play around but I'm having a few issues.

1. This project doesn't seem to be compatible with the current newt-core dev branch and it doesn't seem to be compatible with any release. I'm guessing it was developed against the dev branch? It'd be cool to update it to lock it down to a release, even if that release is old. For now I've got it building by checking out #199d64e of mynewt-core.

2. With blegpio running on my NRF52DK, I can't seem to get the Android app to connect. I can see a "ble-gpio" device as an available device through the Android bluetooth system settings but the app doesn't seem to pick it up. I've tried running blegpio with both newt run blegpio and tried loading it on the board with newt load blegpio. Android seems to let me pair to the ble-gpio device but I still haven't been able to connect through the app. I'm running Android N if that matters.

Appreciate any help, as I said I'm really keen to get this working but am at a bit of a loss in how I can go about debugging it.
