As of now the puppetclient module is not compatible with Puppet 3.2 and the future parser (see http://docs.puppetlabs.com/puppet/3/reference/lang_experimental_3_2.html). There are two problems:

First, Puppet rejects the $cronminutes default of

class puppetclient (
  $cronminutes = [fqdn_rand(29),fqdn_rand(29)+30],   # Run every 30 minutes

with "can't convert Array to String (Array#to_str gives Array)". I think this is a parser bug, I have opened http://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/21264 for that.

Second, the already ugly way of deepmerging the config keys in puppetclient::config is broken, I will attach a patch that works around this (even uglier)
